Hi Shella : It's an acquired taste. Ziggurat has african dishes too if you want to try it. I know they have injeera bread but it was out of stock the last time I visited to try it.

Hi Nina : I'm definitely visiting Footscray again. It's such an intriguing part of Melbourne and there are so many ethnic restaurants I would like to try. Cheap too!

I've eaten at Cafe Lalibela before, and yep, I have to admit that the bread is an acquired taste. I liked it though.

Have you tried the Bengali restaurant near Cafe Lalibela, the one in the corner? They have awesome food as well. You should also try Dancing Dog's Lentils. Really good.
